2oz Ebb+Flow Gin

¾ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Maraschino Liqueur

¼ oz Creme de Violette

 

Shake over ice, strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish.

2 oz Ebb+Flow Gin

½ oz Lime Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

2 dashes Bitters

 

Shake over ice, strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish.

 

Crafty Local (-Craig Kruger, Local Craft Tours, 2013)

1 ½ oz Project V Chai Tea Vodka

½ oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

4 oz Rachel’s Ginger Beer

 

Stir the vodka and aquavit with ice. Fill with ginger beer.

 

Cucumber Aquajito (-Steven Stone, Sound Spirits, 2012)

2 oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

½” thick Cucumber Slice

¼ Lime

2 sprigs Mint

dash Simple Syrup

splash Club Soda

 

Muddle the cucumber, lime, mint and simple syrup in a boston shaker, add ice and aquavit. Shake and fine-strain into a tumbler filled with ice. Top with soda and garnish with mint and cucumber.

2 oz Ebb+Flow Gin

½ oz Yellow Chartreuse

¼ oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

Lemon sorbet

 

Stir the gin, chartreuse and aquavit with ice and strain into a tumbler. Add a melon-ball-sized scoop of sorbet. The drink will gradually transform from herbal and savory to sweet and sour as a the sorbet melts.

 

Daughters of Norway (-Erik Peters, Sound Spirits, 2012)

2 oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

½ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Maraschino Liqueur

1 barspoon Lingonberry Jam

2 dashes simple syrup

1 oz Club Soda

 

Shake all the ingredients except the soda over ice, fine-strain into a tumbler filled with ice. Top with soda, garnish with a lemon twist.

1 oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

dash Maraschino Liqueur

2oz Sound Spirits Old Tom Gin

1oz Dolin Blanc Vermouth

1 barspoon St. Germain’s Elderflower Liqueur

1 dash Celery Bitters

 

Stir with ice, strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

 

Ferskin Old Fashioned (-Steven Stone, Sound Spirits, 2013)

2oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

dash simple syrup

2 dashes peach bitters

 

Stir with ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a mint leaf or a sprig of dill.

 

French 75 (-Harry Craddock, Savoy Cocktail Book, 1930)

1 oz Ebb+Flow Gin

½ oz Lemon Juice

½ t Simple Syrup

4 oz Champagne

 

Shake gin, lemon juice and simple syrup over ice, strain into a chilled coupe. Top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.

 

Gin Julep (-Jerry Thomas, Bar-Tender’s Guide, 1862)

2 ½ oz Sound Spirits Old Tom Gin

8 Mint Leaves

½ oz Simple Syrup

Lots of Ice

 

Muddle the mint and simple syrup in a chilled pint glass or julep cup. Add the gin and ice, stir and top with more ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

 

Gin Old-Fashioned (-George Kappeler, Modern American Drinks, 1895)

2 oz Sound Spirits Old Tom Gin

½ t Sugar

½ t Water

2 dashes Your Choice of Bitters

 

Muddle the sugar and water together in a tumbler, add the bitters, a single, large ice cube, and the gin. Garnish with a twist of orange. Forget the cherry and the soda.

 

Hauptmann (-Brian Dressel, Midnight Cowboy, Austin, 2012)

1 ½ oz Sound Spirits Old Tom Gin

½ oz Orgeat Syrup

½ oz Orange Juice

¼ oz Lemon Juice

1 Egg White

Orange Bitters

 

Vigorously shake all the ingredients except the bitters without ice, and again with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe and top with three drops of bitters.

1oz Depth Cacao Liqueur

1 1/2oz Resposado Tequila or Smoky Mezcal

1oz Cacao Liqueur

1/4oz Averna or Amaro Nonino

2 dashes Orange bitters

1 ½ oz Ebb+Flow Gin

¾ oz Cocchi Americano

¼ oz Apricot Brandy

Absinthe

 

Rinse a chilled coupe with absinthe. Shake gin, Cocchi, and apricot brandy over ice and strain into the prepared coupe.

1oz Aperol

¼ oz Depth Vow of Silence Liqueur

 

Stir with ice, strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Swedish 60 (-Maggie Savarino, The Seasonal Cocktail Companion, 2011)

1 ½ oz Sound Spirits Aquavit

½ oz Lime Juice

1 barspoon Simple Syrup

3 oz Sparkling Wine

 

Shake gin, lemon juice and simple syrup over ice, strain into a chilled coupe. Top with champagne. Garnish with a lime twist.

2 oz Sound Spirits Old Tom Gin

¾ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

2 oz Club Soda

 

Shake gin, lemon juice and simple syrup over ice, strain into a chilled collins glass, filled with ice. Top with soda. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

 

Vodka Tonic

1 1/2oz Ebb+Flow Vodka

3/4oz Bradley’s Kina Tonic Syrup

3oz Seltzer Water

 

Stir with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
